Empowered by being aware of energy in day-to-day-life.

Making empowering decisions and thriving.

Consciously creating.

With the help of meditation, self-healing, creativity and expression.

Being aware of our emotional and mental energy, as well as the energy that surrounds us in our day-to-day life, enables us to make empowering decisions. Using our intuition and trusting ourselves when making those decisions, help us to create a much better life. It's about empowerment and thriving.

And so again, what do I mean when I say - being aware of energy?

For those who are tuning in for the first time - there’s the energy of our thoughts and the energy of our emotions, and there’s also the energy of our environment.

We need to be aware of what energy we bring and what kind of energy surrounds us. And then we need to know how to best deal with both. We also need to know how to use all that to heal ourselves. So that we can function at our optimum and live the best life possible.

And that’s why on this podcast we talk about meditation, self-healing, creativity and expression, all of which deepen our awareness and bring about a profound healing.

Now on to today’s theme. Awareness of energy - to your benefit.

In the episode #48 titled: “Let the energy work for you”, I talked about using energy awareness to make better decisions.

Today I want to add to that, and also want to outline some of the same basic things, as well as in episode #5, where I had defined what it means to be energy aware and gave a list of things that I think everyone should be aware of.

All of this is even more relevant today.

Although many people use the word energy in their daily life, and they might be fairly aware, especially when it comes to people and situations, but are they aware to such extent that it benefits them in a big way?

So to make understanding this as simple as possible, I'm going to start like this...

So we all have feelings and we can all get emotional at any given time and for any given reason.

And when that happens, a certain energy becomes present. So we can say that feelings and emotions carry with them a certain energy, or perhaps we can say that they themselves are that certain energy.

For example we can always tell when an angry person walks into the room. We can sometimes feel it coming even before they're there.

So if we are aware of this, at least on some level, then that means that we're aware of the energy that they bring.

Ok, so there's a difference between angry energy, happy energy, anxious energy, depressed energy, sad energy, and so on.

If we agree on this then that means that we can all feel all of these different kinds of energies, which means that we can be aware of them.

The problem is that if we are not in tune with ourselves, which in this example means - if we are not aware of our own energy (which basically means - if we are not aware of how we are feeling at any given time), then it can be quite difficult to tell what's really going on.

In other words, it can be hard to tell if what we are feeling is someone else's energy or our own. Or maybe it's both, especially if the energy that others bring is triggering for us.

Yes, it gets complicated, but only at first.

Paying more attention to this on a daily basis helps us to decipher.

So I guess, for today, what I would like the main takeaway to be is - to start paying more attention to our energy and how we are feeling, while being aware that feelings bring a certain energy.

Once again, how does this benefit us?

Well maybe if we pay more attention, we can avoid certain situations, or if we can't or are not supposed to avoid them, that we can at least be more prepared for them, so that we can deal with them more skillfully.

I’ve noticed that when you apply this approach, it can make a huge difference.
