He is the author of: Thrive: The Highly Sensitive Person and Career, a book based on two extensive studies investigating the way highly sensitive people experience careers; Thrill: The High Sensation Seeking Highly Sensitive Person, a comprehensive book exploring the intersection of Sensory Processing Sensitivity and Sensation Seeking; and Empowering the Sensitive Male Soul, a book dedicated to raising awareness and consciousness around sensory processing sensitivity in men. Dr. Cooper appeared in the documentary movie Sensitive – The Untold Story, with many other researchers, exploring the personality trait Sensory Processing Sensitivity.
