With the help of meditation, self-healing, creativity and expression.

Being aware of our emotional and mental energy, as well as the energy that surrounds us in our day-to-day life, enables us to make empowering decisions. Using our intuition and trusting ourselves when making those decisions, help us to create a much better life. It's about empowerment and thriving.

And so again, what do I mean when I say - being aware of energy?

For those who are tuning in for the first time - there’s the energy of our thoughts and the energy of our emotions, and there’s also the energy of our environment.

We need to be aware of what energy we bring and what kind of energy surrounds us. And then we need to know how to best deal with both. We also need to know how to use all that to heal ourselves. Why? So that we can function at our optimum and live the best life possible.

And that’s why on this podcast we talk about meditation, self-healing, creativity and expression, all of which deepen our awareness and bring about a profound healing.

Now on to today’s theme – internal focus.

Sometimes we can go through life focused mostly on what’s going on around us and get caught in all the commotion, chaos and disorder. We get distracted and become restless and our mind becomes scattered.

If we do the opposite and focus internally, we have a much better chance of keeping steady and not losing sight of what is really important. Knowing how we feel in any given moment gives us the opportunity to deal with things as they arise.

If we make time every day to go within and reach a still point, we are then able to deal with most situations in a much more grounded and peaceful way.

There are things we need to consider every day and challenges to face, so we have to give ourselves a head start by going within first thing in the morning and paying attention to how we feel throughout the whole day - emotionally, mentally and physically.

As we develop the habit of doing this regularly, it become second nature.

What I also wanted to point out is that most things that we face in our life are a bigger challenge when it comes to the internal, as in – something might appear to be a bigger challenge if it provokes stronger emotion in us. It might not be that big of a deal to someone else, but it is to us. It’s the feelings and emotions that can make it seem bigger than it actually is.

And that’s why it’s so important to understand and realize that the biggest fight we have is the internal one. It’s really good to have this perspective.
