Empowered by being aware of energy in day-to-day-life.

Making empowering decisions and thriving.

Consciously creating.

With the help of meditation, self-healing, creativity and expression.

Being aware of our emotional and mental energy, as well as the energy that surrounds us in our day-to-day life, enables us to make empowering decisions. Using our intuition and trusting ourselves when making those decisions, help us to create a much better life. It's about empowerment and thriving.

And so again, what do I mean when I say - being aware of energy?

For those who are tuning in for the first time - there’s the energy of our thoughts and the energy of our emotions, and there’s also the energy of our environment.

We need to be aware of what energy we bring and what kind of energy surrounds us. And then we need to know how to best deal with both. We also need to know how to use all that to heal ourselves. So that we can function at our optimum and live the best life possible.

And that’s why on this podcast we talk about meditation, self-healing, creativity and expression, all of which deepen our awareness and bring about a profound healing.

Now on to today’s theme.

We all know what it’s like to beat ourselves up. If you happen to be an exception then you are very very lucky.

Throughout our lives many times we get beat up by others, so we really do not have to do it to ourselves, on top of that.

Decisions have to be made. Noticing our thought and our actions, taking notes and then creating good habits.

Which means - creating a habit of cheering ourselves on, encouraging ourselves and celebrating ourselves every day of the year for the rest of our lives - is something that wouldn’t give us much room for putting ourselves down.

But what’s at the root of self-beating? Why do we go there?

Most likely we’ve learned it growing up, from our parents, our grandparents, relatives, friends and our surroundings. And if we were not taught how to love ourselves and encourage ourselves, that makes it even easier for us to go there and keep doing it over and over again.

So what’s needed here? Where do we start?

By making the decision to always be kind and loving and gentle with ourselves. I know this sounds more like three decisions than one, but it’s pretty much the same thing.

And then if we catch ourselves doing the opposite of that, we reach for love and kindness and we remember what that feels like. And then from that feeling we go back to self nourishment.

It might take some practice, but with some persistence and a little bit of patience, we will prevail.
